She will guide you through a mediation that moves the upper body to mantra and uplifting songs. This technology builds the strength of the heart, arc-line, aura, and the subtle and radiant bodies. Many people turn to food in order to cope with difficult emotions. It’s not the feelings themselves that cause bingeing and purging, compulsive eating, starvation, and obsession with weight. Instead, these disordered eating habits are attempts not to feel the feelings. Recovery is about feeding a spiritual or emotional emptiness and accepting the wholeness of our beings.

In this workshop, you will learn the connection between yoga and intuitive eating and how to build a trusting relationship with your body, mind and spirit as an energetic whole. An authentic System with Immediate Benefits. Kundalini Yoga, the Yoga of Awareness, was brought to the West by Yogi Bhajan in 1968. Yogi Bhajan taught that, through the practice of Kundalini Yoga and meditation, your glandular and nervous systems are stimulated, and your capacity for creative potential is heightened. You gain inner vitality to compensate for the adverse effects of stress so you can excel in life.

Kundalini yoga classes are a dynamic blend of postures, pranayam, mantra, music and meditation, which teach you the art of relaxation, self-healing and elevation. Balancing body and mind enables you to experience the clarity and beauty of your soul.

No previous experience in yoga is required for you to achieve results with your very first class. Men of great knowledge actually found out about the chakras – their workings, their petals, their sounds, their infinity, their co-relationship, their powers. They found that the life of a human is totally based on these chakras. This total science gave birth to Kundalini Yoga.

Flissa and Valinda will be leading this Introductory Course and we are very fortunate to have both at our Studio. Flissa is a Certified Kundalini Teacher and Valinda is the most certified senior Kundalini teacher in South Bay who is going into her 3rd Year of Level II Advanced Kundalini Yoga Studies.

The Course will meet every Monday in April and will be limited to 15 people so that we can meet each student's individual needs.

We have patterns in our systems left over from childhood that can inhibit our growth and consciousness. In this powerful workshop we will clear the patterns of our pasts, learn about our inhibiting cycles, and heal our wounds that inhibit our growth.

As we sit in an asana, the beauty of the asana emerges as we bear witness to the depth of our inner body and mind. The expansion we experience is larger than life--even the confines of our skin are hardly touched. The outer body falls away as we explore deeper within our mind and body.

Utthita Trikonasana or Triangle Pose is without a doubt the beginning and end of all the asanas. It is here, in this asana, that we can explore all standing poses, forward bends, backbends, inversions and twists.

In this workshop, we will develop the skills in Trikonasana that are required for over 200 asanas. We will break down the asana into 5 parts that will provide students of yoga a rewarding, moving meditation.

This workshop is open to anyone who has a minimum 1 year experience of Yoga.
